A property managers worst nightmare is waking up to a call about a flooded apartment. 2. Have your claims department number and your insurance policy number saved in your phone for emergency situation. We suggest having a Google Doc with this information so you can easily access it.
3. Vet companies that you are going to choose to work on your property. Make sure they are certified and qualified to handle the water damage. The time to pick a restoration company is before the disaster strikes. Look at online ratings, certifications, and the amount of years in business.
